Boutiq Glow Edition
The Boutiq Glow Edition is a visual and aesthetic variant of the brand’s standard hardware, featuring a photoluminescent outer shell that absorbs ambient light and glows in the dark bakedinbushwick.com. It is most closely associated with the Boutiq Switch V4, though the V5 also incorporates glow-in-the-dark elements and LED glow technology greatcbdshop.com.

What the Boutiq Glow Edition is
The specialised outer shell of the Glow Edition uses photo-reactive or phosphorescent materials that charge under ambient light or UV exposure and glow brightly in dark environments monseyvape.com. This makes the device easier to locate in a dark room, bag, or car while adding a distinct visual signature to the hardware.
Retailer listings describe the shell as a “photoluminescent outer shell” that charges under light boutiqcart.store. It is a hardware finish, not a separate product line.
A V4 Glow Edition holds the same 2 grams of liquid live diamonds, uses the same 1200 mAh USB-C rechargeable battery, and features the same LED display as a standard V4.

How to charge the glow shell
Because the photoluminescent shell relies on absorbing photons to glow, the device needs exposure to light to maintain its effect monseyvape.com.
Ambient light: Leaving the device on a desk or in a well-lit room helps keep the shell charged.
UV or blacklight: Exposing the device to a UV light for a few seconds can produce a brighter, longer-lasting glow.
Charging the battery: The internal battery still charges via USB-C. The glow effect is purely visual and does not interfere with the charging port or LED display.
Counterfeit risk for Glow Editions
The Glow Edition is heavily counterfeited because the visual feature is relatively easy for fake manufacturers to imitate with cheap materials. When verifying a Glow Edition, look for these red flags:
Paint vs. shell: Genuine Glow Editions use photoluminescent material integrated into the polycarbonate or silicone housing. Counterfeits may use cheap glow-in-the-dark paint over a standard device. This paint can flake, feel sticky, or smell strongly of chemicals.
Fading: A genuine photoluminescent shell should hold a charge for a reasonable time in the dark. Fake paint may fade almost immediately after the light source is removed.
Misspelled branding: If the glowing box says “Boutique Glow” or “Botiq Switch,” it is likely counterfeit. Check the batch code and QR marker against the Real vs. Fake guide.
Price: A genuine V4 Glow Edition typically retails for about $26.99 to $35.00, similar to a standard V4. A “Glow” device selling for $12 is a major red flag. See the Pricing Guide for current market ranges.
