Boutiq Switch: Every Generation Compared

The Boutiq Switch is a line of multi-chamber cannabis vape devices that lets a user alternate between separate strain chambers inside one disposable unit. The line runs from the original V1 to the current V5, with a sixth generation (V6) already tracked as the next release, adding adjustable voltage, glow and orb editions, and Infinity Mode along the way.

The Switch line is also searched as boutique switch, switch boutiq, switch boutique, boutique switches, and botiq switch. These are spelling variants and word-order variants of the same hardware family, not separate products. Partial searches such as “boutiq switch v” almost always refer to one of the numbered generations below.

The blinker duration of 8–10 seconds is the standard safety cutoff across the lineup: the device cuts power after a long draw to prevent overheating. If you need blinker counts and indicator patterns specifically, the Boutiq Blinkers guide carries the numeric breakdown by generation. Gram weights, hit counts, and THC concentration questions are covered on the Capacity & Specs page.

How the switching mechanism works

A Boutiq Switch device contains two or three sealed oil chambers inside a single battery unit, and each chamber is paired with its own heating element. The selector on the device determines which chamber’s element receives power, so switching strains means switching circuits, not mixing oils. This is why the chambers stay separate for the life of the device and why a failed element on one chamber does not stop the others from working.

Every Boutiq Switch is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion cell. Lithium-ion cells can vent or catch fire if they are punctured, heated, or overcharged, so follow established lithium-ion battery safety guidance and never open, puncture, or heat the battery housing. This is also why the Troubleshooting guide orders every fix cheapest and safest first.

Changing the voltage setting changes how hard the active element heats the oil, which changes vapour density and flavour. From the V4 onward, voltage is adjustable; the Voltage Guide documents the heat settings generation by generation. The LED indicator, which users call the blinker, counts draw length and battery status; the Blinkers guide explains what each pattern means.

The generations, one by one

Boutiq Switch V1

The Boutiq Switch V1 is the original release, dating to early 2023 or earlier, and it introduced the brand’s core idea: two strain chambers in a single disposable device with basic draw-activated hardware. The V1 is discontinued, documentation is scarce, and remaining stock on the secondary market is difficult to authenticate, which makes verification especially important for this generation. We flag every unconfirmed value in the comparison table rather than repeating unverified claims. The Boutiq Switch V1 page collects what is currently documented.

Boutiq Switch V2

The Boutiq Switch V2 is the second-generation hardware in the line, released in 2023 and now discontinued. Retailer descriptions credit the V2 with advanced technology for a smoother vaping experience over the V1, while keeping the dual-chamber, 2-gram format. As with all older generations, counterfeit risk rises as genuine stock thins, so check packaging markers before purchase using the Real vs. Fake guide. The Boutiq Switch V2 page holds the current known details for this generation.

Boutiq Switch V3

The Boutiq Switch V3 launched in 2023 and is the generation that set the template still used today: a 2-gram dual-chamber disposable with USB-C recharging, ceramic coils tuned for flavour, anti-clog architecture, and preheat assistance for thick oil. The device weighs approximately 40 grams. Search interest in the V3 centres on its flavor list and its differences from the V4. The Boutiq Switch V3 page covers the hardware, and the V3 Flavors list covers the strain options documented for this generation.

Boutiq Switch V4

The Boutiq Switch V4 arrived in 2024 and is the first generation with adjustable voltage and an LED display showing battery life, oil level, and blinker count. It keeps the dual-chamber, 2-gram format, runs on a 1200 mAh USB-C rechargeable battery engineered to outlast the oil, and is the generation most associated with glow-edition finishes. Users comparing the V4 to the V5 usually care about the tank layout, the voltage behaviour, and the flavor list. The Boutiq Switch V4 page covers the hardware, and the V4 Flavors list covers the strain options.

Boutiq Switch V5

The Boutiq Switch V5 is the current flagship and the most significant architectural jump in the line: a triple-tank design holding 2 grams of liquid live diamonds across three strain chambers, with adjustable voltage (Batt and Volt settings), glow and orb limited editions, and Infinity Mode as the headline feature. Its battery capacity is higher than the V4’s to sustain the energy demand of three mesh coils. Because the V5 is also the most counterfeited generation, verify packaging before use. The Boutiq Switch V5 page carries full specifications, the release timeline, and the complete V5 Flavors list.

Boutiq Switch V6

The Boutiq Switch V6 is the next generation in the Switch line. The V6 already appears in some retailer menus, and search volume exists today, but verified public specifications are not yet available. This site tracks the V6 with a thin page that will be expanded at release with measured values only; we will not publish rumoured specifications for an unreleased device. If you have seen V6 units at a licensed retailer, our Contact page accepts dated photo documentation. The Boutiq Switch V6 page will be updated as confirmation arrives.

Which generation to choose

Choosing between Boutiq Switch generations comes down to four practical factors, not marketing claims.

  • Availability and authenticity. The V1 and V2 are discontinued and increasingly found only on the secondary market, where counterfeit rates are highest. If you cannot verify the packaging, do not buy that unit, regardless of generation. The Real vs. Fake guide shows the markers to check.
  • Feature set. The triple-chamber layout and Infinity Mode are exclusive to the V5. Adjustable voltage begins at the V4. If continuous-draw functionality matters to you, the V5 is the generation to research first.
  • Flavor variety. Each generation shipped with a different strain list. Compare the V5 Flavors, V4 Flavors, and V3 Flavors lists, or use the Flavors Hub to browse across generations.
  • Price, capacity, and compliance. Pricing varies by generation, format, and retailer; the Pricing Guide tracks what buyers actually pay, and the Where to Buy page lists retail channels. On the legal side, we do not publish legality advice for any jurisdiction. The federal framework for hemp-derived products is defined in the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (Farm Bill), state rules differ sharply, and our Legal Compliance page explains how this site handles those restrictions.

Features across the line

The Switch line’s most searched features each have a dedicated explainer on this site:

  • Infinity Mode — what the continuous-draw feature is, what it does, and how to trigger it on compatible devices.
  • Blinkers — the LED puff counter and indicator patterns, with durations by generation.
  • Glow Edition — the glow-in-the-dark finishes searched across the V4 and V5.
  • Orb Edition — the orb-styled limited editions.
  • Liquid Live Diamonds — the extraction format used in specific V5 releases.
  • Voltage Guide — how to change heat settings, step by step.
  • How to Use — power cycling, preheating, and first-use operation.
  • Troubleshooting — fixes for devices that are not hitting, clogs, and resets, ordered cheapest and safest first.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Boutiq Switch?

A Boutiq Switch is a multi-chamber disposable vape device that holds two or three separate strain chambers in one battery unit, letting the user alternate between them with a selector. The line currently runs from the V1 to the V5, with a V6 tracked as the next release.

Which is the latest Boutiq Switch generation?

The Boutiq Switch V5 is the current flagship generation available at retail, and the V6 is tracked on this site as the next release. We publish V6 specifications only once they are confirmed against released hardware.

Are boutique switch and botiq switch different products?

No. Boutique switch, switch boutiq, botiq switch, and boutique switches are spelling and word-order variants of the same product line. Misspelled branding on physical packaging, however, is a common counterfeit marker, so check the Real vs. Fake guide before buying.

Does every Boutiq Switch have Infinity Mode?

No. Infinity Mode is exclusive to the V5 generation; the V1 through V4 do not have the feature. We are confirming whether the V6 will include it and will update this page when verified.

How long is a blinker on a Boutiq Switch?

A blinker typically lasts 8–10 seconds across the Switch lineup. The device cuts power after that window to prevent overheating, which is why drawing past the cutoff produces the blinking indicator instead of more vapour. The Blinkers guide breaks the indicator patterns down by generation.

How do I check a Boutiq Switch is genuine before buying?

Check the batch code format, QR behaviour, and packaging print quality against the Real vs. Fake guide, and buy through the channels listed on the Where to Buy page. We could not verify any generation as counterfeit-free on the secondary market, so treat unverified sellers as high risk.

Where can I read the federal rules on hemp-derived products?

The federal framework for hemp-derived cannabinoids is set out in the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, and the FDA publishes its position on cannabis-derived products. State rules differ and change frequently; this site does not publish legality advice. See our Legal Compliance page for how we handle restrictions.
